...our Bohol Vacation!!!

Flight to Bohol!!!

We were very excited when we arrived at the airport at 7:30 am for our 9:05 flight. We checked in our baggage and got our boarding pass then went to the departure area. While waiting, we took our breakfast inside the airport and because too expensive ang food, we shared na lng sa 1 cup rice & menudo since i don't each much sa breakfast! Then suddenly, we heard an announcement na delayed ang flight nmin! Haaaay... medyo nababawasan na ang excitement tuloy! So wala nman kming choice kundi magantay!!! Medyo malakas din ang ulan that time, and we're hoping na sana maganda ang panahon sa Bohol!
@ the tarmac...

The long wait is finally over... we are now boarding the 162 seater Airbus A320... it's a really nice plane, better than their Asian Spirit. We still waited for about 30 mins before the the plane took off the airport... medyo madilim pa rin ang kalangitan!

We arrive at Tagbilaran Airport at around 11:30 am. Kuya Elmer, our driver from the pensionne house, is already waiting outside the airport. It's just a 10 mins drive from the airport to the place we are staying, the Casa Reyfrancis. Ok lng nman din ung place... good for travellers na just looking for a place to take a goodnight sleep... meaning... medyo low budget lng... hehehe!!!

We just took our lunch first at the casa then nagpahatid na kmi kay kuya Elmer sa Panglao beach...'bout 20-30 mins drive from the casa. He told us na may cousin sya na manager sa Alona Tropical Resort and we can get discount there. Php 100/pax lng entrance nmin since mga outsiders lng kmi. They also have swimming pool and of syempre "the beach". Kuya Elmer left us na sa resort and we told him to pick us up at 4pm. Di na kmi nagsayang ng oras, kahit na tirik na tirik ang araw because it's 1 o'clock in the afternoon lng nman... we start enjoying na... adik noh!!! syempre we started to take pictures ... !!! Thanks to my sister's water proof cam, we're not worrying na it gets wet. We really did enjoyed the beach. And si Mai... parang ngayon ko nga lng syang nkitang nagenjoy maligo sa beach eh... we've been to Zambales, Batangas, Bora and Palawan, pero sa Panglao sya talagang nagenjoy!

...after ng pictorial!!! hehehe!!!
...at Alona Tropical Resort
After nmin sa beach... we went to the pool nman! ...took some pictures then shower na. While waiting the driver to pick us up... we looked around the resort muna and syempre picture picture! Sobrang bait nila!

...the Eskaya

On our way back to casa, dinaanan nmin itong isang resort called ESKAYA. Where the rich and famous lng daw ang nagpupunta. We asked the guard for a brochure to check how much nga dun... syempre bigay nman itong si guard... mukha nman kming rich & famous eh..heheheh!!! well...well...well... not that much nman pla eh!!! For about USD 500 - 3,500/2 pax lng nman po depende sa package!!! Oh di ba kayang kaya... hehehe!!!

Pagdating nmin sa casa pahinga lng ng konti then go nman kmi sa supermarket in BQ Mall (Bohol Quality) to buy some stuff para sa tour nmin kinabukasan. Then we look for a place para makapagdinner na rin kmi... syempre ung tipo bang sa Bohol mo lng makakain... Jolibee!!! O di ba... wala nan gano sa Manila... harharhar!

Bohol Tour

We walked up at 7am, it's our tour day! Enjoyed free breakfast... longsilog and coffee. Packed up our baons and rolled out!!!

Our first tour is in Hinagdanan Cave at Panglao Island. Well known, and easy to reach. The cave has plenty of stalactites hanging from the sealing, and stalagmites which i've only seen in pictures of my books back from high school. There is also a large pool inside and it's so clear. According to the guide it's quite deep. Kuya Elmer also told us na way back from his childhood, they use to dive on the pool pero bawal na nga daw ngayon.

@ Hinagdanan Cave

Next is the Blood Compact Monument, ang tagayan ng barkada... hehehe!!! We were not able to get down from where it was really happened... wala nman daw kasi makikita dun pero may plan n magtayo din ng isang Galleon near the beach.

....iba ang may pinagsamahan!!!!

Then the Baclayon Church, one of the oldest church in the island dated 1727. Cams and videos were not allowed inside the museum kaya we requested kuya Elmer to take our picture from outside na lng... buti na lng mabait driver nmin... sya na rin photographer! hehehehe!

After the old church is Phyton Sactuary, i was expecting na sactuary nga but the snake is actually a pet... and that's Prony the phyton. It's really huge ha! Grabe... as in sobrang laki! Katatapos lng daw kumain ng 30kls na pig that's why the owner let us take picture inside the cage... medyo kinabahan nga ako dun eh... O di ba... gifted human being... hehehe!!!

...wag kang hihinga... wag kang kukurap!!!

... don't be afraid babes.. di yan si Prony!!!

After meeting with Prony... sa mga endagered Tarsier nman! So excited to see it...hehehe! Actually sa Loboc river muna sana kmi pupunta but since 11am plang and ung mga cruise is getting ready pa lang din, we went to see the tarsier muna. We stopped at this sari sari store along the street beside the Loboc river, kala ko may bibilhin lng si manong. Yun na pala destination nmin. As usual, it's not a Tarsier sanctuary as i expected! The official sanctuary is located at Corella, Bohol. They have 4 little cuddly tarsier... they are really cute! Holding it is not allowed na... not like before. They should be kept only on their natural habitats which i think is right naman. Tarsiers are active only by night and imbes na nagpapahinga sila, di nila magawa dahil sa mga tourist na dumadalaw sa kanila... kaya sila nai-stress.

...puede bang ako na lng magshades!!!

Hay... nkakagutom!!! It's time to have lunch nman in Loboc River! Sarap talagang kumain especially kung eat all you can! I think may 1hour din ung tour nmin sa river. May stopover pa... these group of people sings & dances, syempre kasama sa entertainment for the tourist while on the cruise.

...the Brgy. Gotozon Dance Group!!!

Next stop is the Man Made Forest in Bilar, on the road to Chocolait Hills. Syempre another nice spot to take pictures. Sana sa Manila meron ding tulad nito...

....Mahogany trees of the Man-Made Forest

... may parating na sasakyan!!!!
...ano ang nsa sa dakong paroon?

And at last... the famous Chocolait Hills in the town of Carmen, Bohol. Lalo kaming na-excite, as in! Pagdating nmin sa station where we will begin our journey to the hill top, iniwan na kmi ni ni kuya Elmer. So we climbed the hill and according to them it is the highest hill. When we have reached the top, we were so amazed to see it! They look like giant ant hills...hehehe... wala lng sanang giant ant! It's only 3pm pa lng kaya medyo mainit init pa pero malamig nman ang hangin. But we don't mind... basta picture lng ng picture!!! Especially dun sa isang grupo ng mga turistang Haponesa who offered us to took our pix!

...feeling
Cguro we stayed at the top for about an hour or 2 then we decided na to go down. When we arrived at the station information desk, they called up our service at the parking area, then went back to casa Rey.

But before we went back to casa, we decided to buy souvenirs first coz we might not be able to do it the next day coz 10am is our sched to go to Cebu via SuperCat.

We ask kuya Elmer where we can buy souvenirs who's accepting card since wala na kc kming cash. And he brought us to this souvenir store, where we experienced the unexpected. Grabe! Super pili na kmi ng mga pasalubong for our families, friends, officemates and to our selves syempre. We spend cguro more than an hour kakapili ng mga souvenirs. Then we went to the counter to pay it na... the cashier asked us, "Ma'am, cash or charge?". Syempre charge sagot nmin... so compute na si cashier ng mga napamili namin and inabot nga ng Php1,600+. We asked the cashiers na ung P600+ worth eh icash nmin then ung 1k thru card na lng... and they said its ok nman. So giv na nmin ung card sa cashier and swipe it na... then the unexpected happened na nga! "Ma'm may iba pa ba kayong card?" sabi ng cashier. OMG! Di ko alam magiging reaksyon ko sa nangyari... first time namin na maexperience ang ganun. We don't have a choice kundi piliin lng kung ano ung mga items na kukunin namin at kung ano kakasya sa cash na dala namin. Haaaay! We went out of the store straight to our service van. Syempre we were shocked kasi nagamit pa namin sa Manila ung card before we went to Bohol. I did not react on what happened nor comment... quite lang ako till we reached casa and went to our room. Of course, we did not let our Bohol trip to be ruin syempre! Thanx to Cebuana Lhuillier Pera Padala...harharhar!!!

Our trip to Bohol as a whole was fantastic and we enjoyed it so much...we have done all what we have planned even though some unexpected situations happened. For sure we'll be back again to this place with our kids or maybe with our friends.

We started planning this trip last January. Kaya naman mula nun, me & Mai are very excited na ksi it's our first tour na just the 2 of us lng. No kids... no relatives... hehehe! Actually after ksi ng trip nmin from bohol we're going nman to Bacolod to attend the graduation of Mai's cousin Migo and our kids will be there nman and syempre ang buong barangay.

Well.. it's kinda late na and i have to take a rest for our trip tommorow.
